AFAIK, you use the stock boots, they fit D-max's from 01-06, They are making them for PPE and PPE is asking aroung 1350

Yes stock pipes and hoses. You also have to evacuate the AC. The OE core is about 1.6" thick whereas the TM is 3" thick.

PPE has them for $1495. I think the price will be the same no matter where you look. We have them for $1495 shipped for those interested.

Evacuate the AC as in you lose AC alltogether, or you have to evacuate it to remove the condenser and reinstall it later and recharge?

Do you lose the ac all together? If so then this mod is a no go for me.....120 degrees sometimes in the summer up here in norcal.....I would be one angry SOB driving a truck with no AC

yea there is a bunch of stuff to remove on the chevy's kinda a pita but well worth it. it's not really designed to gain HP, that's just a perk. it's more designed to assist the cooling in higher HP trucks and towing applications. The main reason for it is to lower egts and engine temps. From what i can remember it was usually somewhere around 100-150 degree difference in egt's. we've installed them on the ford chevy and dodge's and they always fit great, and the quality is unsurpassed.
