This is in CND $'s but holy. My drivers side fog light burnt out so I was picking up some other auto parts at NAPA, so I thought I'd just get one there. He had no listings for that bulb, so I went to my truck and took the bulb out and brought it in. He said he had never seen a bulb like that before. I then went to the dealer, which said I needed to make an appointment to get the bulb installed. Instead I just brought the bulb into parts and thought I'd buy one. He had never seen one before either but told me they were $48.90. I told him to order one and made a appointment for my truck to have it installed. I thought it would be 5 or 6 bucks and would just do it myself but for 48, they can do it.

48. bucks for a friggin bulb...?????
I'd be tempted to leave the truck there permanently...!!!
lard tunderin jesus bye..!!!
That is outright theft IMOP. Anyway you can change the socket and go with a std type of bulb...??? might be worth it..? but I guess that is the way it is with these units. I priced a headlamp assy as my pass side one is cracked - $196 at Napa and $155 for aftermnarket in Caglary - didn't even bother with the Stealer. I guess that's still not bad considering you are only buying a bulb. Unreal.
...for those that are not in the know..Cdn Dollar is averaging .95 USD these days...not because ours is any stronger (are you kidding.?? lol),...yours is in the tank.

GM is making a killing in Canada with the high $. The bulbs are at least covered under the 3/60 warranty.
