Could one of you guys with a retrax on a regular box go out and measure the dimensions of the can that the tonneau rolls up into? I'd like to get one of these but I need to know how much space it's going to take up.

I know my sig says I have a long box but with my toolbox in place it's just a 1/4" shorter than a regular box on a extended cab.Edited by: WAskier

WAskier,Mine's basically, 62" X 12" X 12". The 12" height is from top of cover down. If ya need real precise measurements let me know and let me know how ya want it measured.

I just measured the can. Do you want me to measure from the front of the box to where the Retrax (actual sliding part) is at it's closed position (fully retracted)? Edited by: SaguaroKid

1/4" shorter should work perfectly. On a short box the retrax doesn't quite line up flush with the front of the box.


Retrax can also do custom builds to your specs.

I've seen a custom built cover by retrax, very high quality.
