Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on replacing my Donaldson with a NAPA Gold. The Donaldson will need to replaced soon and I found NAPA makes a direct replacement for the factory filter. I know the Donaldson flows and filters well, but is also very expensive. Is the NAPA Gold filter as good or very close? Or do I need to stick with the Donaldson filter, for great flow and filtration. Thanks!
Air filters are inexpensive compared to the cost of a damged engine...If it were ME i would stick with what is proven, a few dollars difference on a 40k truck is no issue, never mind all the money you spent on mods!!!

I replaced my filter with a NAPA filter and it was the same donaldson filter media. I got mine off fleetfilter.com along with my oil and fuel filters. I think it was around $30.
Thanks guys! I thought I had read about the fuel and oil filters from NAPA being a good quality. But haven't heard anything about the air filters. The NAPA filter is $50 less than the one at GM. GM wanting $80 for a air filter is retarded.
