Mine is homemade, it worked out good where the joint on my 4" MBRP was right where the 90 needed to be, then i put a 4 to 5" adapter on top of the 90 then put the stack in the adapter. Im not sure how long mine is excatly and i cant measure it cause my trucks not here. No i didnt drill a hole in mine, i heard they still blow slobbery black suit everywhere when you do. I just cover mine.

My garage has a few pics. Completely homemade, stack is 6" diameter, 36" long, and uses no flex pipe.

The stack wasn't long enough, so if you look, there is about a 12" piece of pipe that is between the stack and the elbow.

Perfect t_dub!

Thanks!.. I've always got a bunch of junk in the back, so I figured in the corner with as little pipe in the box as possible was the best place for mine..

I do dig the "slightly off centered" look, and was gonna do mine that way... but, it was winter, and I had the time, so I figured what the hay.. I would try something different and try to fit this big pipe through this little space...

btw, those of you on the fence about a stack (or 2)...... The women dig the stacks......:cool_shad

They look more like light smoked stainless steel. Since my truck is black they look darker when you stand at different angles.

How did you know where to place your hole in the bed, I like your stack location, could you give me some inside the bed measurements of your hole?

Just put mine on this past tuesday, i used my muffler free 4" mbrp system and put in a 18" long 4"-5" 90% elbow with a miter cut 7" grand rocks 48" long stack that i had powder coated with a textured high temp black. looks great and pours the smoke. I really only had one place to put the stack, its about 14" from the passenger side and 3" from the cab. i also fabricated a piece of sheet metal to make a cover plate that i had linexd and then cut down my truxedo tonneau cover, i think it turned out great,,

How did you know where to place your hole in the bed, I like your stack location, could you give me some inside the bed measurements of your hole?

I cut the rear section of the exhaust off about 1ft past the bed and then positioned it just inside the frame rail (This is so you can see it between the bed and cab. It was almost lined up already). I then mounted my brackets in the bed lined up with the pipe and took measurements straight down for the hole. In the location I mounted mine you have to cut about 2/3 through the forward crossmember channel on the bed. I used a 4 1/2" hole-saw to cut the hole and then mounted the stack with the lower exit lip just above the cab. The rear section of exhaust that was cut off had a 45* bend over the rear axle so I cut it down and then removed the excess pipe from the intermediate that was sticking 1ft past the bed (It comes out to about the same length as a normal intermediate pipe). I then attached the flex to the reducer from the stack and ran it through the hole. From there it become trial and error to get the flex and 45* pipe cut right to fit.
