put the new pyro in friday night. took about an hour and a half to get it all hooked up. still need to mount it somewhere it is just zip-tied to my steering column as of now. goin down the road it runs around 400, up a hill givin it hell the highest i seen was 600. when i park it and let it sit for a minute to let it cool down it never gets below 300 or 250. these are all post turbo. what is the proper temp to shutdown at post turbo? i think 250 is the lowest i can get it. and what wire did you guys splice into for the lighting?

Post turbo everything's a little cooler (~100-200*F) than pre-turbine.That means don't let it go beyond 1000*F, which as you can see you would have to be loaded to achive.

You have to splice into your dashlight circuit to get them to come on with your light's and dimm.Edited by: quantum mechanic

if i would just go on the hot-side of the parking lamps fuse, that would work for the pyro lighting, right? or i could use the illumination fuse? i wouldnt be able to dim it though. and should i worry about an inline fuse to protect the light in the pyro?

i dont know what to splice into to make it dim. all i see are a bunch of wires. Edited by: steiner43511

i ended up wiring into the illumination fuse in the fuse box. i think it was number 14. by using this one, i am able to get full dimming capability.
