On a 94 you can get just a prom and put it in the ECM but on an OBDII you send the entire ECM to have it reflashed.

i never understood why hypertech never made a programmer for the 6.5. they made one for every chevy truck, 96 and up, 4.3,5.7,5.0,7.4. it is such a nice tool allowing the ability to change tire size, gear ratios and speedometer settings in the computer.

The "chip" is money well spent on OBD I. The vendors here can supply it. You can get mild,good and "hold on".


These chips do more than just dump fuel into the holes.
