I,m interested in a quiet system that helps reduce egts with as litttle or no drone as possible. I see most systems are straight through with internal louvring. Assuming quality packing materials that resist blowing out, i would think that the longest muffler would be the quietest. Is the tts the longest 4" offered for my extended cab truck? Since I tow, I'd like to keep the drone down. (BTW I have a cat equipped lby.

I see that Banks uses a chambered exhaust, is this a superior design to reduce drone in the 1500 - 1800 rpm range? I would like as consistant a tone as possible throughout the range. Anyone know the body length of their newer design muffler? Is it as quiet as the tts under tow, or is there too little difference to tell?

Anyone know of a chambered exhaust that is free flowing? Lastly, am I correct in my belief that louvered types, like the flowmaster perform well lightly loaded and have good sound, but drone under heavy load?

P.S. - Mark Craig, if you happen to read this, do you know if there would be a place to install your resonator with the large tts and cat, or do you have another suggestion for the drone prone extended cab?

Would the resonator fit withe the banks system?

I personally think that if you leave the Cat on, you won't experience
any drone from the MBRP system. I put one on, and the note was
only slightly louder than stock. Sounded great, but not
loud. When I took the cat off, big difference in sound. I
wouldn't worry too much about the muffler.
