didn't have any luck w/ the search feature...I know the problem is in the hvac control unit, but what exactly is the problem? Has anyone determined what is bad? for the record, when I turn on the fan switch to turn on the ac, sometimes it doesn't come on-other times it turns on after a few minutes and other times if I turn the knob enough, it comes on.

does anyone know?
