Trippin 11-06-2004, 09:05 PM Hypertech won an award for their new Hyperpac. Which basically has all the functions of an Attitude monitor but needs to be plugged in and left plugged in to the diagnostic port under the dash. It can display most everything available from the diagnostic port. The drag race funtion has a tree and will evaluate reaction time.
Volant has a cold air scoop that picks air up off the front of the truck at the tow hook opening. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif
It seems like everybody and their brother now has some sort of rebox/private label tuner for our trucks. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif
I'll post more as my memory allows.
Sixty9SS 11-07-2004, 01:07 AM Look for much to come from S&B Filter on their line of diesel intakes and filters. They test their filters to the ISO 5011 standard and meet or surpass that standard with a guarantee in the box.
BlueCrew 04 D/A SB GMC 11-07-2004, 01:51 AM TTS?
Trippin 11-07-2004, 02:06 AM TTS displayed:
1) Power loader 3.
2) Data Master. (Data logging software/hardware)
3) Exhaust systems.
4) Diesel lift pump.
5) A host of other goodies for GM vehicles.
I would prefer that Steve give the details of what he displayed as I'm sure I will get some of the details wrong.

Diesel Tech 11-07-2004, 08:57 PM Well what we showed was some new and some old.
The Multi plate Torque Converter was released at the show so now those of you wondering what a few members have been calling "it" in some of the threads is now for sale. Those of you that have them can now talk about them.
The Data Master Data Logging software was shown for the LB7 and LLY. It should be released first of the year. Runs on a standard windows based PC.
The new Diesel fuel pump and filter assemble was also on display. It's still being tested at this time. We will be selling the pump as separate part so those that only want the pump can get it. It will be three parts for a complete install. Pump, filter and installation kit. You can buy anyone part or all three. The pump is just that, the filter assemble comes in two different styles and the installation kit include the pre made hoses that clip in place with no cutting, electronic pump control and mounting hardware.
The billet fuel pickup that I designed which is an old part, but the new fuel sender modification that uses a 5/8" push-loc fitting is new.
The overhead gauge holders that I've been working with Trippin (http://dieselplace.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=16657&PN=2) on were there for both the Attitude Display and Dual standard 2 1/16" gauges Both types come in Clear anodize, Black anodize and Polished with no anodize finish.
Our 4" St. St. exhaust kit which has been around for quite awhile.
We also showed our new transmission upgrade for those of you wanting to go beyond what the original design of the Transgo Kit was for. It's still being tested and should be released in March or sooner. So far testing is going good and it looks like it should be good for 700 RWHP when used with our multi-plate converter.
Then there's all the Ford and GM EFI based products but I don't think the members here much care about them. I'm sure I've missed something but it was a long week and a lot of work. It was a pleasure putting faces to go with some of the members here.
On edit: you should never post when your 1/2 a sleep.Edited by: Diesel Tech
baimpala 11-07-2004, 10:35 PM Could you expound more on the Data Master Data Logging software, or is
it the same as on your website, just for the LLY application?
Thanks,
Dennis
BTW, I care about GM EFI based stuff. . . http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/hihi.gif
ghettosled 11-08-2004, 12:18 AM Hey Steve,
Josh and I came by the booth, but i guess you were out walking around.. Looked like you had some cool goodies there :-) I missed the converter though. TTYL.
Trippin 11-08-2004, 01:13 AM I've been testing the TTS triple disc converter for approx. 5,000 miles now, including a sled pull. All I can say is "Wow!".
The low speed torque multiplication is awesome! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley32.gif
BlueCrew 04 D/A SB GMC 11-08-2004, 01:21 AM Trippin do you know much about the TTS 3 power loader.
Trippin 11-08-2004, 01:31 AM Trippin do you know much about the TTS 3 power loader.
I honestly don't know that much about it.
McRat 11-08-2004, 09:43 AM I've been running the TTS Triple a short time now. My "no-tune" time dropped about 0.9 seconds in the 1/4mi, but some (0.4) was altitude.
WanaDmxsub 11-08-2004, 10:37 AM I want to hear more about the new tranni upgrade. 700rwhp with the stock Torque Converter and stock tranni clutches?
Can't wait to hear what MikeL has to say. (I have a feeling I might already know)http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif
Diesel Tech 11-08-2004, 01:13 PM 700 Hp is not with a stock converter, it is with our multi-plate and more clucthes in the transmission along with electronic controls added.
WanaDmxsub 11-08-2004, 02:42 PM Got it, Thanks.
Looks like I have around 5 months to figure out how I'm going to get my truck down to LA with out "The Wife" finding out.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley9.gif
VFRRider 11-08-2004, 08:54 PM Is the "High Performance Torque Convertor" Listed on TTS website the new multi plate or is that a previous unit? Is that price correct? If so...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Rock On.gif
Diesel Tech 11-08-2004, 09:29 PM The Multi-plate unit is not on the Web site yet. The Site should be updated next week from what I've been told.
Diesel Power 11-08-2004, 10:09 PM Put me on the list.. I'm ready!!!!!
3500dmax 11-09-2004, 02:03 PM Diesel Tech can we get some information on the LLY Power Loader III. How many setting? Hp/tq numbers on the different settings? Any other features? Price? And most importantly when will it be available for purchase?
BIG DIPPER 11-09-2004, 05:05 PM Put me on the list.. I'm ready!!!!!
If the single disc is holding fine.....why take it out?
I thought people were saying earlier that a properly built single would hold just as much as a triple.......
Micheal Tomac 11-10-2004, 10:17 AM that's before they had a triple
Diesel Tech 11-10-2004, 11:50 AM that's before they had a triple
We have never stated to anyone a Single plate converter was the end all be all. The single plate was and is rated at 500 Hp 900 Ft/lbs. Since that's also the same rating we placed on the shift kit it was all we felt that was needed by 98% of the people using the trucks to pull their trailers and such. The Racing/Truck Pull people were over those rating so we've made something that will work for them. We also will release an upgrade for the transmission to go along with the Multi-plate converter after the first of the year.
Let's look what Diesel Power has put his truck through for the last year and a half....... drag racing, truck pulling, dyno runs, trailer pulling and in general just beating the crap out of his truck with no problems. He has been well over the rated 500 Hp and 900 Ft/lbs limit for quite sometime. Add to that the NOS he add a few weeks back and then broke the rear diff., it's time to upgrade from our Single plate and shift kit.
So your comment is way off base here.
Slick 11-10-2004, 11:56 AM What about the details on the power loader for the LLY?
Scotty Seelen 11-10-2004, 04:46 PM Has anyone heard of a Attitude type display that Banks will be coming out with for use on their 6-Gun? I was going to buy the pillar mount gauges for egt and boost, but decided I would hold off after hearing of this rumor. I thought they would have introduced it at the SEMA show, but apparently not. I see that Bullydog has a new unit somewhat like Edge's Attitude, called Snoopdog. I'm usually in favor of needle type gauges instead of text type liquid crysal displays, but I also heard that this new product from Banks will allow the user to set limits like the Attitude. I guess I'll just wait it out.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley24.gif
sp33d 11-10-2004, 06:02 PM Scotty,
I noticed a "controller" of some type at the Banks booth in the Duramax section with the six gun, but didn't pay much attention to it. I guess I should have looked a little more but the Banks stuff didn't interest me and I was moving fast to see the whole show. I did notice they have a new intercooler option for our trucks but again I didn't look into it much.
BH in AZ 02-08-2005, 03:03 PM Well what we showed was some new and some old.

Diesel Tech,
Would you please give us a progress update on the fuel pump and filter assembly product.
As I recall, you had another post (which I cannot find) where you said the pump was being tested and that you should reach the test hours sometime in January. I assume that part of the testing is now completed,so hopefully you can give us an update.
Thanks.
