Has anyone connected a Turbo Boost gauge to an LLY ? Can't seem to find out where it goes since there's no wastegate. Any info would be appreciated

you mount it after the intercooler in where the intercooler hose meets the casting down by the intanke manifold. try searching as this has been written up once with pictures by someone.

Okay, I fire up the search mode and go look for "lly boost gauge install" and all I get is:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80040e31'

Timeout expired

/forum/search.asp, line 376

No pictures, and the write up is ah, well, a bit arcane.

Sometimes that happens to my browser when I use the search function too. I usually close the window and open a new one up. Seems to work most of the time.

Follow the tube from the intercooler to the intake manifold connector. Remove the intercooler tube hose from the intake casting. Push a rag inside the casting about 5 inches and cover the opening in the intercooler tube. Drill and tap the casting 1/8" NPT before the rag you shoved up the casting but after the hose connection point. I did mine so it points toward the firewall. One finished use a vacum to suck the shavings out of the casting then remove the rag you shove up inside and reconnect the intercooler tube. Install the boost gauge fitting into the tapped hole. Took about 30 minutes start to finish.
