Which of the suspensions lifts can you run with the stock wheels?

I would really like a lift that doesn't increase the front track either.

i wouldnt run any lift with the stock wheels IMO. you need to get the right size wheel under there. In regards to lifts that increase front wheel track, i know that the Rancho Lifts will inrease the track width, and IIRC there was one more but i might be wrong on that - the others will not, just check out the website and they should have that information.

Try a body lift when Performance Accessories comes out with it towards the end of this year. I'm waiting for one.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley20.gif

For 88-98 trucks, the Rancho 4" (really 6") kit works fine because it
lowers the upper control arms. The kits that have the long spindles are
easier to install, but most the time don't work because the stock
rim contacts the aftermarket spindle at the top.

I used the Rancho with stock wheels and 295 &0R 16's cause all the
aftermarket rims seem to have too much offset for my tastes

bet you will be able to see OVER the frame with our trucks and a body lift. do it right with suspension and you wont have to move parts for the motor. besides, these trucks already show to much frame http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif

No body lift for me.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley11.gif

I want to be able to run my stock wheels w/285's or 295's in the winter and my 22's with a 35" tire in the summer.

Thanks

I read that Fabtech allows stock wheels and tires to be run after the lift was installed on our trucks. Check their stuff out.. I am partial to RCD myself, but I don't think that is the look your going for. It definately increases your track width.

You can run stockers with the 6" fabtech lift. I am. However i would look at rancho or rcd to lift your truck. I am having problems with my lift and all i get from Fabtech is "we have never seen that before"http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley7.gif

pm me if you want details.
