I would like to know if it's save to use a pressure washer under the hood of the d-max.

avoid and ways to do it, but of course I can't remember where they
were. . .

Put a Walmart bag over the fuse housing and the passanger side valve cover (where the label that reads - DO NOT POWER WASH).

No pressure washing, no steam cleaners if you don't want electrical and oil seal problems. High pressure anything will work its way past the seals and give you grief. All the electrical connectors are Delphi with a multiple rib seal. Hit one at the right angle and you have water in your connector. Hit a u-joint or axle seal the wrong way and you have discolored grease or lube oil. Not good.
