I have a buddy that has a 97 power stroke and we have a major fuel leak comming from the vally. Was there any common problems that accur with this engine. I'm a chevy guy, never worked much with the Powerstroke. Any help would be nice. THank you
With the year of the truck it could be several things. Coroded fuel filter housing, cracked fuel lines, bad clamp, etc.

I'd agree with Ggg6 I've seen both a hole corroded in the fuel filter housing and a cracked line going to the fuel filter. Definitly the first place to look.

ran across this problem twice on two different trucks.
One: fuel filter cap was not properly seated with it o-ring.
Two: Fuel heater stuck on and burnt up the fuel filter assembly.
