ok so i figured out that 305/55/20 are the same damn near to a hummer h2 takeoff 315/70/17 . now heres the hard part . anyone make a 20" wheel that wont stick out any more than the h2 wheels or even close . i just tried a 20x10 with a 4.50 backsapce and it sticks out about 3" . looks like crap and would ruin the side of the truck with stone chips .
anyone with any info would be great

Good luck. You may have to go with a billet wheel and have it made special for your specs... When we were looking at 22s and 20s we found the same you you are.. We went with 9.5 wide with an offset of +30 and it still sticks out quite a bit... Look at BCoddingtons or Budnik or Billet specialties or someone who will make'em to your specs.. I think you need like a 20x9 with a 5 in back spacing to keep em under yer truck.

Weld racing EVO velocity 20x8.8 is 5.14" bs and 20x9.5 is 6.12 bs. If you get just weld racing velocity they are not crome. EVO's are crome, but EVO XT are crome but have the standard 4.5" bs. So make sure you get just EVO and not EVO XT
www.4wheelparts.com (http://www.4wheelparts.com) lists the rim specs.

yeah i know i would have to get the evo not the xt series . i just took off a 18x9.5 with a 6.12 backspace i guess that what i could use except in a 20 . should fit the same . i also have hummer h2 wheels on it now . they are 8.5 with a 5.5 backsapce and fit nice

I found the wheels I want but it lists as having a -24 offset. What is that? Will they fit?

go to www.tires.com (http://www.tires.com) and select the info center, they have alot of tech related stuff. look at the conversion charts for converting offset to back space.
