Has anyone done a hood slide on the newer trucks? Does it bend the hood?

Nice summer boom system, how come you didn't finish the box (paint or carpet?) and why don't you drill holes or install speaker terminals instead of running the speaker wire throught the ports? No, I didn't fall on it either- that was just from leaning on it holding the wiper blade off the windshield while I reached to wash the middle. The sheet metal on these trucks is about the same thickness as a beer can.
