If you look at the engine compartment it shows a Duramax and says 6.6 on the engine cover.

Cool but think they're smoking something with that price tag.

Looks like they had to do a body lift to clear the Allison. GM should take note, build this truck!

At that price, I'll stay a "WANABE"

you guys have to read farther!! it also says that its a 2000, if i am not mistaken the duramax wasnt released until 01? but anyways they said that they transplanted it into the burban. the motor and tranny and what not came out of a wrecked truck and then they put it into a burban. they said the the install looks like it was factory.? http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif

They also said it would be 7 to 10 grand to do a conversion if the donor, engine, and tranny were supplied. . . . . .

Reminds me of a movie I saw once with Cheech and Chong in it.

Eric would have a good laugh and 4 hours later I'd be driving out the door.

I love it!

Something to consider when my Suburban passes 100,000 miles. They even fit to/with the QuadraSteer. I do wish GM would take notice. This is the dream 'burban I was looking for two years ago...
