I would like to know also. I like the way the bully dog can be upgraded via the internet. You don't have to send it back. But I would like some feed back also before purchasing. I have a buddy that is using one on a 5.9 Cummins and it works great.
I'm awaiting mine...just shipped today from CMP. I was very happy with the PowerPup I had in my '05 DMax...was getting 25mpg DIC from Anchorage to Soldotna on tow/economy. I had the RBP tuner on level 2 on this LMM...I think it's a PPE resell tuner...and actually dropped 1-2 mpg...now back to stock...minus $699. Ouch.

A fella by me that owns a very well known performance shop took his off the first week he had it. He has a 9" lift running 37s on a 07.5 lmm. Called Bully and told them not to ship these. If want his info pm me. HE WAS NOT HAPPY. He still has the DPF and is only running the mbrp DPF back dual exhaust. Limped almost right away.
Not spreading rumors, I talked to him. He is a straight shooter.

:( sounds like bullydog may not be one to buy. Iwas talking to the tech department today and they said that the programmer has only two settings as of today. They said that the programmers cause the filter to plug if you put it to the higher settings. Is this something that all programmers do? They did say that a updated program will be coming soon.
This is what I've wondered from the get-go. You pour more fuel in, create more soot...how do you not clog up the DPF?
"sounds like bullydog may not be one to buy." Do you know that the other companies have found a way to avoid plugging the filter For someone such as myself that leaves it in tow/economy, Bully Dog's a great choice.

See the post "service regen capable tuner" The bully dog works fine just doesn't increase mileage

From what I've heard the RBP isn't a PPE resell tuner, they just get the programmer cases from the same supplier. The actual tuning is different. But I could be wrong.

Oops...I stand corrected. I had called PPE and while they wouldn't come out and state anything firmly, the guy would only say alot of companies re-label PPE's tuners...so I assumed....
Drove back from Seward yesterday on Tow/Economy mode, gained 1-2 mpg with the PowerPup. RBP had LOST 1-2 mpg, so I'm happy with that. 1.5 second turbo-lag...good HP gain when it kicks in when passing. BullyDog said that the Performance tune was seeing better MPG gains so I'll try that this week and next weekend, same trip, cruise set at 60.
