Hello everyone.

I have been trying to solve an electrical problem in my headlight system for months and hope someone will be able to shed some light.

I had my first headlight switch fail almost a year ago and since then it has been one every 2 to 3 months. Lighting system had major electrical problems before which were all solved however this one is baffling me.

What happens is switch gets hot (sometimes) and the daytime running light relay starts to flicker violently. The dash light illuminates (with the flickering) but the headlights seem to stay on. This eventually gets so bad that the headlamp switch fails. The problem has been very intermittent and hard to track down. I can only say that it has nothing to do with the switch (fifth one currently), the relay or the DRL module (both replaced).

I'm baffled. Anyone able to help me with this one.
