New to the forum - looks great!

Question, on an '03 dodge 3500 auto/diesel/4x4, the manual recommends changing the axle fluid at 15k miles. Does anyone have a good writtten procedure (pictures are great as well) for doing so? I've seen some great do-it-yourself procedures on the web, but not for this. Any help or leads would be appreciated.

Changed my rear end and it was simple. Used Mobile 1 Synthetic. Unbolted the cover but left the top two bolts in so it would not fall. No problem breaking it open. Caught the stuff in a large pan, looked inside at large, clean gears and closed it back up. Gasket is reusable with no problem. Filled (don't remember how much) to right below the hole and screwed the plug back in.

Nothing to it.

Have not done the front one yet. 61,000 miles right now but might do it "tomorow".

Enjoy the ride.

You have a full floating rear axle so when you change the fluid make sure that it gets to the hubs on both sides before driving, so you don't ruin your bearings.
