Any one running one of the Bully Dog transmissions ? These are totally built trannys, converter and all. 2 year warranty. Your impressions on the unit please.


Installed the new built tranny being marketed by the Bully Dog company after overpowering my Suncoast Stage II. Cyclone Diesel Co., a vendor in my area, happend to have one at the track the day I blew my old one.


My first impressions are, other than the converter feels a little loose compaired to my Suncoast (Pro-loc) tripple loc that was in my last tranny, the tranny is stout and the truck pulls hard as with my Suncoast Stage II. This tranny is supposed to hold more horsepower, how much I don't know, but if I break it they will repair it. (Hope I don't have to test the warranty)Edited by: gmccall

Level 2 suncoast is way under done for you if you planed on hitting the track...



Keep us posted on the BD trans, You're the only one I know with it.

Will do Eric, I can get loud at times if somethings not working.


There are a few vendors in the area trying these and they seem to be working allright so far. Both have run in the high 11s.
