Alright I just replaced my power steering pump and now I have a squeek that happens at an idle, and when I turn the wheel, I've tried to investigate it but no luck I just know its on the passenger side and could be the vacume pump or turbo.... the vac pump pulley does seem kinda wobbley....
Also I replaced my power steering pump (evo or whatever its called) and I'm still having symptoms of before, so I guess it wasnt the pump but what else could it be? it jerks in middle of turning and sometimes is hard to steer.... could this also be because of a front end alignment??

It might be the vac. pump. Mine does the same thing. As for the jerking. I would check everything out in the front end. look for worn or loose parts.
Hope this helps.

The jerk happens like if I'm going into a turn and let off the throttle and go into it its tight, but as soon as I hit the pedal with the wheel still turned it jerks as if the power steering just kicked in......
How much trouble is it to remove the vac pump other than getting a belt and taking the sob off??? is there anything else that needs to be done??

Is the belt loose? I dont know about removing the vac pump but I heard that its only two bolts. I'll be taking my off in a couple off months. As soon as I get the gauges and turbo master.

I dont think the belt is loose, I replaced it about 4 months ago, but the squeek increases when I turn the wheel while sitting still but its coming from the pass side, but the vac pump pulley looks kinda rough while its rotating but I dont know if thats anything to do with it....

was it a NEW pump that you replaced? you symptoms speak of low PS pressure, as the pump powers both steering and brakes, your hyroboost could be causing the "jerk" if the acculimator is faulty. try your brakes with the engine off, you should get 2-3 brake applications before the brakes get hard. if you fail this test you will likely need a hyroboost assy

Sounds expensive, I know the pump was and it was reman..... yeah when I hit the brakes it idles down if that means anything....
