I'd like to put pink neon lights on the interior of the truck in my sig. One light under the dash on each side, and one light under the back seat on each side. My question is, how would I wire them? I'd like to run them with the dash lights, and dome lights. Is that possible? If so, how could I do it? Thanks.

Why wouldn't I be?

DO it with LED lighting, much cheaper and easier to install and less chance of breakage.

I'd like to, but all I can find at AutoZone are the interior neon tubes. Where can I find the LED's? Also, what type of LED am I looking for? I can do mechanical stuuf, but when it comes to electrical/lighting, I'm totally lost without a clue.

Check out www.radlites.com

all 12v led lighting. I used to build custom golfcarts and we switched from neon to led. much smaller and tougher. if your going to mount them under the seat go with the rad lites. Also it shouldn't be to hard wire into the dash lights. just find the power wire from the dimmer and splice into it

Thanks, checking it out now. My problem with the wiring is, like stated, I'm an electronic dummy. I want them to work with both, the dome light, and dash light, so when either one is on, they will be on.

What would be best, an interior/engine kit, or 4 of the sticks?

4 independent strips, also you might think about a switch as well, the cool factor will get old, the lights will be brighter than dashes all the time and pink is close to red for you might get hassled by the Fuzz.

Would it even be brighter if the lights are hidden under the dash and seats? I'm looking for something that'll give a pink/red glow on the floor in the four corner seats, front left, front right, rear left, and rear right. Thanks for the advise.

I agree with crewcab03 use a switch and make it independant from the dash lights. it will get old after a bit and being able to turn it off will be nice. Plus it will be easier to wire up. battery to a fuse-fuse to a switch-switch to the power side of the lights. ground side of the lights to any ground under the dash. I would use 4 long stips or 8 shorter ones. the led light is more consentrated to one spot on the ground aposed to the neon tube which glows across the surface more. so you may need more led's. Call them and ask the owner. His name is Steve and he will tell you exactly what you will need. he also has a bunch of stuff not on the web site, just ask him.
good luck

Very simple to install - and flexible applications... I mounted a bunch on my snowmobile... The flexible strips shed a lot of light, and are incredily easy to find places to mount them.

Neon lights are a lot harder to find mounting locations as they are large, solid units... :rockit:

What, why!? I hear neons add 30-43hp at the camshaft...
