The general consensus around here is that these things suck but, I want some good honest opinions. I am looking at the RF10 which is a new and great looking tire. I think it has a high mileage rating as well.

Thanks in advance.

Yep, they suck! My Dad has had two sets (RF01's?) on his Dmax with poor luck. They're hard to keep balanced, they don't wear well, traction is so-so, and worst of all he had three blowouts.

I put a set of 4 on my 32' gooseneck trailer, and they suck also. I've had two flats so far just due to rocks going through the tread.

They're cheaper for a reason, IMHO!

I have heard both good and bad about them. Some get miles out of them and others are going through them pretty fast. I would not chance it.

I went through 2 sets on a company truck ('04 F-150 2wd ext cab) They were good enough on that truck that I bought a set for my D'Max. I can't say the same for these. I haven't had any problems with them, but I seriously doubt that I get 40K out of them.

I had a set of RF04's on one of my company vans and they were OK no problems to report but they wore out pretty quick.

The van now has some 245 Bridgestone Duravis on it, I wonder where they came from

That's kinda what I thought. They look good on their web page though. I may end up buying bridgestone's ATs. I hate to spend that kind of money and end up hating them, even though no one has been able to quote me a price on them yet. I don't think they are in the books yet.

Thanks again

I have a set of E rated ones on now. One of the drilling and blasting companies up here had a set on their work truck that constanly drives on 6"+ blastrock. No flats before the the tread was worn out.

Just got another flat yesterday from a rock going through the tread. I think every one of the four Hankooks I bought has had at least one flat now, none caused by nails--all by rocks.

Mine are DynaPro A/Ts in 235/85 E rating.

dmaxthad:

How are they Dynapros holding up. A buddy of mine runs them on his Jeep. I like them, but wondered how they would hold up on a heavier vehicle. His 35s seemed a little soft. They work great on his Jeep. Best of luck!

Just remember in most cases you get what you pay for. I'd put some more money into it and get some Toyo's or something. I think that's what I'm gonna go with about $150 cheaper for the set then BFG's. BUt I guess it's all in what you want to spend. Goodluck and post some pics when you get something figured out.

I agree with you especially after following this post. I am going to get either Cooper or Toyo all terrains. The Coopers look good and I like the solid center bead in the tread.

Thanks
Chad

I've gone through the 235/85/16 Hankooks and I didn't care for them. I got real good deals on them, that's the only reason I got them. I think those are load E.

I also got 4 on my trailor that are 14 ply. They've held the weight pretty good, but I've only had them for about 2 months so far.

Well, I am on the wore out side of my RT03's with 15,000 miles on them. 305/70/16
I might can get another 1,000 out of them.
These have been the longest lasting set of tires i have ever had on the truck!!
I have run BFG AT's that lasted about 12k, ProComp AT's about 13k, Maxxis Bighorns about 10k, and Super Swamper TSL's at 2,500 miles.
I do alot of stop and go pulling a trailer of about 5,500 lbs. I have driven the same with all sets of tires.
The DynaPro's were not the smoothest riding, but I think they handled the best. I will buy another set.

Jason.
