Why won't my 05 LLY Dmax take any chips?
My friend tried his Superchip, error code
Preformance Shop (multiple) tried the Bully Dog trial error code: could not communicate
Also tried the diablo same thing
I do have an aftermarket car starter, but did my best to disconnect on one of the trials...
I have onstar and did take the fuses out
Any suggestions?

Is the key turned on when you try this?

if that's the case why not just go with a module?

truck does not have enough power. try removing the radio fuse and be sure all lights are off. my superchip did the same thing and i thought it was the tuner but this seemed to be the problem.

I had some trouble with mine during the first install, it wouldn't unlock the pcm. I disconnected both batteries for 20-30 minutes, hooked them back up, pulled the fuses that needed to be pulled and everything downloaded like it should, haven't had a problem since.

I tried to re-install my factory tune the other day and it kept giving me error codes, needless to say I was pissed cause I thought my Predator was toast. Then I remembered to pull the radio, amp, and info fuses and everything worked just fine. So X2 on the underhood fuses

all that to put in a tune. seems nuts. but could be, i never used one. also check the cig lighter fuse. it also protects the dlc. it could cause no comm.

You need to pull some fuses to keep some of the electrical equipment from communicating on the bus while doing a reflash. I always pulled my radio fuse when reflashing with the predator. If you are getting power to the predator then it's not the cigarette lighter fuse.

Are you the original owner, might there already be a program in it?
