Finally - the 900 lb hoist is assembled and ready for duty... Works like a dream - I just couldn't lift it too high or the quad would hit the fan...

That looks like a simple set up. How much did it cost, and how was the setup? I wonder if I could sell it to the wife as a "safety" issue?

It was around $5500 CAD, or $6500 installed. I had them install it after it sat on the floor in the crate for 3 months since I couldn't find time to put it together. It also comes with castors so that you can move it around (even with a vehicle on it).

It would be competing with the built trans for budget priority so I guess it will have to come later.

Seems expensive compared to the prices I saw for the hoists coming out of Indiana.

I too opted for the tranny upgrade instead of the lift, for now.

Wish I had the lift lastnight though.

Yup - I got the carbon-fibre 3500 DRW.... Weighs in at 250 lbs! :D

My proofreading needs some work - should have read 9000 lbs... :duh:
