Have you ever revved up your truck in Park or Neutral and watched the boost gauge? I was this evening after my latest mod http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/hihi.gif and was suprised to see 15lbs of boost in park at WOT. No I didnt just stand on it, just a blip to it.

There's normally no real boost without any load, like at idle, so I'm thinking you went and got you some of that boy's PlasmaGrips for your mod...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/hihi.gif

U have boost at higher rpm's just because of the amount of air that is going through the motor.

I've seen less than 8 psi but haven't put it up against the governor http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif

Sitting at a light this morning, I was able get just over 8 psi @ 3000 rpm.

This was at steady 3000 rpm.

Stock exhaust and cat.

Add 1500rpm to that and see what the LLY will do!

I'm trying to decide wether to get my 05 that just came in or start boosting the one I have .

I do see that PPE has a bigger box than juice that raises RPM to 3800 http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley15.gif for LLY.

Wonder how it stacks?

I also need to find an LLY alli to fix up so I can keep my stock one for the next trade.
