You'll have to crank the t-bars some and maybe do some trimming.

I dont' think this will be a problem. I had 285/75-16s on my '99 1500 Z71 and had minimal rub at hard right or left and compression. I believe the 2500HD should have at least the same if not better clearance.

Every truck seems a little different. The dealer I got my 285s from had two trucks to do that day and the tech that did the install also put 285s on his 2500.

My truck didn't need any cranking or trimming, while the tech's truck needed minor trimming and the other customer needed both. Not sure why, but ...

my uncle just dropped 60k on an 08 f450... didnt wanna give the dealer all of the good shit off his trade in 04 f350, so off came the airbags, tires, toolbox/spare tank, etc.....
guess who gets the tires :D....
figured i'd ask those of you who have 'em if they'll work.... my main concern is the wheels. they are the chromed 16" steelies, didnt know if runnin 285's would cause funny wear patterns.

also, whats the difference in weight rating for the aluminum vs. steel wheel?? i like the look of the aluminum but dont wanna sacrifice my load capability. this truck regularly (2-3 times a week) sees 12-15k trailers and sometimes more... will they work for me or no???
thx, wt
