One of the fog lights on my '02 has begun to vibrate and shimmy. I looked under the truck and didn't see a way to tighten the bracket. It appears that the assembly is held in place by some sort of plastic rivit. Anyone know of a way to tighten?

Do you have the ability to fabricate stuff, aka welder, etc.

You will have to make a bracket that will hold the light in place. I had to do that on my 2000, and 2002 as well... Very simple to do, I use some aluminum plate... I wish I still had some pics of those, but sorry I can not find them....Good luck

I kinda figured that I would have to go the fabrication route. The aluminum plate is a good idea. Thanks.

If you need any help fabbing them up PM me. I developed some braces that worked very well for my 2000 Silverado. The trick is to make the brace where you can still aim the lights.

My plastic braket broke on one of mine, so I put a strap over the top of the plastic and screwed it in and put a second strap on the bottom adjustment screw for support. I got the idea from Silver Bullet, who might have some pictures of his if you PM him.
