I have yet to figure mine out lol.. Have a problem, sometimes when I push the pedal, she goes nowhere, or if it does, It's very slowly until a few seconds later.... New pump, injectors, WG switch, all fuel rates are correct, even the TPS is working (or so says the scanner) got the timing set right, TDC offset corrected etc etc... I wanna make this thing run, but I'm running outta money and hair.. lol I drove a 98 the other day and man It had some throttle response.. you hit the pedal and it went... same mileage as mine (180K) OLD injector pump etc.. If anyone is near St Louis and wants to make some cash lemme know.. you can fix it.. I'm almost done with it :)

hmmm taking shots in the dark here but....

1. vacuum pump works? I think normal was 25" Hg and post solenoid valve was 18" - search and double check that.

2. WG actuator works? Try moving the WG actuator rod when engine is at idle. Should be impossible to move.

3. OPS works? Not sure how to check that...lol

4. Fuel pump relay works? put 12v across the coil to see if you hear the contact pull down

5. Lift pump works properly? On the fuel pump relay harness short out the orange wire to the grey wire. This should make the lift pump operate. (labeled C for the orange [12v] wire and E for the grey [lift pump wire])

6. Change fuel filter lately?

What pump model # did you install?

Everything works right.... I think the pump # is 4328 or 4308... I need to get the mirror back out and look again.

It could be a fuel supply issue. Everything's else is new! 'cept if you switched from the 94 HD original 4068 to your current pump.Edited by: quantum mechanic

If you had a 5068 and changed to another model, THAT is your problem. It will "miss" when you try to rev it up and be all around lazy...

If that is it, buy a 95 F engine auto tranny prom for it.

Well, here's the thing.... Someone else screwed with this truck before I got it... So I'm Clueless as to whats supposed to actually be on it... It had an engine fire, and someone replaced pump, wiring harness, ecm etc... So am I up a creek here?

Thanks for the help so far!!!

Can you pull out the ECM for a minute and write down the series number and then the PROM number that's visable inside if you remove the torx screw on the bottom cover.
