Alright guys, i've got a friend who has an 01 lb7 that he just bought with over 200k miles. Hes put an intake, gauges, and exhaust on the truck. He has also stacked a bullydog triple dog, bullydog rapid power, and ts performance mp-8. When he races he turns them all up as high as they'll go. I've been a little leery of racing him with a lly with a 2.02 predator and just wondering if I stood a chance. He has a stock tranny and no lift pump by the way. What do you guys think about this? Thanks

you should have a chance. if he turns them all the way up, he will definately be running out of fuel, and the tranny won't like it. between the shifts, he will be hanging to long, and you can gain ground on him between each shift. just put it in tow haul, run your predator on 85, boost it, and you will find out.

If you raced him several times eventually you'll win. He's going to limp the tranny. Not to mention run out of fuel.
