I've been trying a search for this but the fourm search engine isn't
working.....taking it do the dealer in the AM and need info, please.



I've been trying to narrow down a whining noise lately and thought it
was the Allison. Tonight though I narrowed it down to the power
steering pump, I think. If I hold the engine at 1300 RPM's in
PARK and turn the steering wheel back & forth the power steering
pump makes a slight whining noise. It shouldn't make any noise
at all, right??



I know someone posted lately that had to have their P/S pump replaced
on an '05 because it was whining......is there a TSB??? Whoever
posted made mention that their service guy said this has been a common
problem.



Does anyone elses truck do this??? Normal??? Any info would be appreciated!
