Truck died last week and know it is running fine. They want to put a new fuel filter housing and say it is a $100 deductible. Is that covered under the 100,000 mile warranty?

that would be it, $100 after 30,000

I don't believe that there is any deductible as the housing is part of the emissions warranty. I would challenge them on that.

I don't see that being part of the emissions warranty

It is part of the fuel system, and effects combustion, and I am almost postitive it is a no-deductible item. You might try searching for others that have replaced it and see what they found out. Don't take the stealers word for it!

They will not cover that I tried once before it will cost you in the neighborhood of $520

Mine was cracked and replace free under GM's extended warranty. If I hadn't got the extended warranty, they said it would be in the neighborhood of $500.
