Finally ready for snow.... before it snowed! Put the same plow (Western
8.6 MPV) as I had on the GMC. Install went almost without a hitch.
Lights didn't work properly but reconnecting the harnesses fixed it.
Drove around yesterday with it on for the first time. I am impressed
with this truck. Does it handle the plow weight better than the
GMC?
Without trying to be too cocky.... Hands down. No comparison. Going
down the road at speed there is hardly any sensation that it's even
there. Only time you notice is steering when not rolling. A little more
steering effort required so I make sure I roll some while turning.
The GMC did handle the plow quite well. Just lower and mushier.
