I regret to inform diesel enthusiasts that I have committed the unthinkable... I went back to gasoline. Some of you have read and replyed to the misfortunes I have had with my 2500hd dmax since I purchased it in January, and I thank you for your support and opinions. Though many problems were not diesel related, I traded for an '02 crew cab 6.0 auto 4.10 gear 2500hd 4x4. I already miss the torque and mileage, but love the crew cab as opposed to the extended cab. The "new" HD has 14,000 miles on it, that is the main reason I traded, the truck is like new. My poor dmax had been badly abused by its previous owner so badly that I could not get her to recover without spending a boat-load of money. Maybe one of these days I will be DuraMike again. Until then, I guess I am GasMikehttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif. My wife would think that was hilarious.

I guess the key like me and others ....IF YOU CAN AFFORD IThttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley18.gifis buy one new and treat it like your best hunting dog.If you buy one used like anything else there could be trouble.I payed so much for my awesome truck,I sometimes catch myself talking to it and telling it how much I love her.....http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gifLike a good dog she hasn't let me down yet after one year of ownership.
