What is the major difference between the AFE stage 1 and 2. I this difference between 1 and 2 worth the price difference? And is the progaurd 7 filter worth the extra price?

Mark Craig 11-01-2004, 09:33 AM turbo lcc, We ONLY sell the Pro Guard 7 as it is the only washable filter to STOP the dirt and still flow air way above the stock systems. The Stage I is an improvement over stock but the stock intake tube is not real condusive to flow. Kind of like exhaust systems that aren't mandrel bent same idea. We order Stage I's for customers when that is what they want, but we stock the Stage II as it comes with the 4 inch mandrel bent intake tube and flows a considerable amount more air.
