Does anyone know if the GMC grill and the Silverado grill are interchangeable?<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />


I would like to get a GMC grill and replace the center with a billet insert for a custom look. I want to wipe the "smile" off of my Chevy.

I was told (so take it for what its worth http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley9.gif) that pre '03's possably (and I underline thathttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley18.gif) can be interchangable. course I was told that the only diff between a Chevy and GMC was the emblems and grills http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley26.gif http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley9.gif. I am pretty sure the GMC and Chevys actually have different front fenders. It seems like I heard the point at the top of the fenders above the grill were different....

Fenders and hood are different.



IMO, it's not worth the cost involved. Unless you find a wreck
