Maybe problem child is wearing off on me. I've had 5 sets of remote door openers die on me and it's not the batteries. The dealer can't believe it . My warranty is done in 3,000 miles and I'm alittle concerned. Edge module wouldn't effect this would it ? How much are these if I had to pay for them?

So everytime one quits the program a new one and its good to go again? Is there any chance that it isn't the transmitter quitting but maybe the truck forgetting the transmitters programming? This would indicate a bad driver side door module instead of bad transmitters and might explain why you have gone through 5.


You could test this by trying to reprogram the transmitter that quit into the truck again.

My wife had the same problem with her truck, the problem was a blown fuse, they replaced the fuse & works fine now. She has a 1500 but I'm guessing it could be the same problem.
