I have just changed out all of the items as noted in my signature. This was to find out what caused a stumbling problem. The final solution was found when I replaced the I-Pump. Now that the new I-Pump is on I am getting excessive black smoke during acceleration. I thought it might be my IP timing but numerous setting do not change it. I now believe I may have a turbo unit that is not giving me the air I need. Can you fellows tell me how I can do some tests on the Intake and Turbo to see if they are normal.
Thanks in advance!

what boost levels are you seeing,, when the Black smoke appears?,,, Um,, Please tell you you got gauges!
Black smoke is unburned fuel,,, so maybe you got low air flow to turbo,,, or turbo master spring setting is too week, thus low boost,,, But it does sound easy to fix.

Just to clarify, I have had the Turbo master the new air filter and the eprom chip in place for a year or so. I have not made any changes to the T-Master spring and it is set for around 12-13 lbs. if I recall, I can check my install manual. The original I-Pump worked fine until it started cutting out and there was no noticable smoking. As far as gauges I use the GMTD Scantech and can see some intake and boost pressures on my scanner. the most recent data capture showed at 41 kmph and accelerataing I had Barometric pressure of 12.01 MAP boost pressure of 24.85 and therefore a calculated boost of 12.84.

I found my problem. It was with intake flow and mixture as a result. The turbo unit wastgate was stuck partly open. It is free now and so will monitor for it getting stuck again in future.
Thanks guys.
