Does your tuner allow the changing of the tire pressure monitor settings? If not will this be a upgrade?

Thanks

At this time our tuner will not allow for tire pressure changes.

If the tuner was purchased and is upgradeable it will be a free upgrade if we offer it....

This would be a great option to have. I would especially be greatful for the ability to completely disable or "turn off" the TPS system. I am going to be installing 54s and 20s on my LMM soon and really don't want to mess with the sensors in the 20"x16" Stazworks wheels.

Illduramax,
Do you have the sensors installed on your new wheel/tire combo? If so, what is the pressure set at? What is the lowest pressure that the dealer can set the new TPS system at? Reason I'm asking is that my new 54s have a max psi of 25 and I'll probably run them at 18-20. Can the TPS system be programmed to read this low or not?

I believe the lowest setting is 50psi!!

I had the dealership change mine to 50 psi. It was no problem it took him about 5 minutes.:)

Dan, do you know of any features that the PPE will disable. I heard that the remote start would not work. Is this true?

I don't think that is from the programmer, that is when people like me remove their DPF

The remote start will not work if your turck has codes stored...

I was told that efi live will clear the codes and get the check engine light off,( for those of us running straight exhaust) therefore renabling the remote start, Have you made any progress in that direction.:)

I had my sensors programmed down to 40. I run the tires at 45. Interesting point, in the morning when the sun is beating on the right side of my truck, the 2 right tire pressures go up by 5 psi. In the evening it's the opposite. I think I might try nitrogen in my tires.
