Well now that its got cold again Im not using my ac unit I decided to
run another mpg test. My last fillup cost 65.00 dollars (yikes).
I ran out to mammoth (350 miles) at 2k rpms with the h2's and no ac. I had no wind and it is mostly level road. I got 17.6 mpg.
On the way home I reduced the rpms to 1825. I ran with no ac and it was level with no wind. I got 20.22 mpg.
Stock tires at 2k/no ac got me 20.3 mpg.
So it seems the increased speed 12.8% faster(wind resistance) with the h2's means you have to lower the rpms to compensate.
I got plenty of dirty looks and people passing and cutting back in early for going so slow on a 2 lane.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley7.gif
