Where the c4500 crew cabs ever made with a 6 speed manual?
Have seen hundreds of ads with the 1000 Ali and only 1 with a manny

Is the Ali 1000 > 4 and the 2000> 5 >>> or 5 & 6 or is 6 another beast

To the right of the Stereo head, there are 2 round pods [I assume ]when there is a guage there, it is a tranny cooler?

But below that there are some trucks that have either 1-2-3 or 4 switches > Usage?

my 07 4500 has a tranny gauge and airfilter gauge in those pods along with the 4x4 selcet switch and a blank. As for the switches: heated mirrors, exhaust brake, regen switch, pto, markerlight flash, and some others. I ahve sheet that I will try to scan with what they are.

Yes they did have 6 speed manuals. A driver in our yard had one w/ a sleeper. Problem is its the same as the p/u 6 speed. Not heavy duty at all. He had a couple failures in less than 200k. Last time I saw him he had traded it and is back in a p/u.

I was given a build code of ML6
I know the Ali 1000 is M74
so I guess it is a manny

No AC either, that could be a deal breaker
I like it to snow inside my cab

Could it be the 2350 series auto trans as well? dont know what the build code is but it could be a six speed auto like mine. No ac thats an odd one.

which switch puts it in AC mode >> far right?

all controls I have seen look identical

knobwith the different vent positions pointed to the drive side at around the 10oclock position. the first 2or is it 3 settings/marks are the ac side no "button to push in"

OK, I gotta ask what the "regen switch" does, is it for the exhaust particulate filter? Mine are both pre '07 emissions and I don't have it on either one.

In the 4500 I can initiate a maunel regen if the road trip isnt available to do with the switch if my dash light indicator gets into the yellow from green.
