Let me start with I LOVE MY TRUCK! So that said, I am having some problems with my new bully dog exhaust it sounds like a suction at the tailpipe. I have checked for leaks. Could the muffler be in backwards or what? When I gas on it the suction goes away. Next since the new exhaust and bully dog power pup and afe stg. 2 I hear something still spinning after I turn the truck off. Could someone tell me if that is normal and the engine kind of clunks off instead of turning off like a brand new motor. To be honest it reminds me of my 86 monte carlo. Please help and thanks for all the help so far.

The spinning sound is more than likely your turbo still spinning. With the RPM's those little things spin they dont just stop immediately. The different intake probably amplifies this since it doesn't have the extra baffeling to keep it quiet like the stock intake system. If you have adjustable tips on your exhaust move them in/out to see if you can adjust the tone that you are hearing. If you think it is a suction put your hand over the tail pipe and you'll dispell that myth. Bigger exhaust with less restriction and you are probably hearing the turbine (exhaust) side of the turbo. I am sure some more good input will follow.

Thanks, that makes sense about the intake. The other thing I forgot to post was that at idle it comes and goes from weird to normal sound and when you hit the gas that high pitch hiss goes away. Hope that helps describe it better. Thanks
