I run the new Quad tune, usually 90 sometimes the 135 to play... It sure dumps a load of smoke when you punch it.

I was considering Propane for my next purchase, as I can get a discount
on the BullyDog Kit... My question is how well these two would
mix together running the Quad 90 most of the time.

Will the Quad + Propane cause my duramax to Detnonate to death?
I heard some people are running Quad boxes minus the timing, should I
get a program minus the timing to run with my propane or can I run the
Quad 90 I got?

Also will the Quad90 or 135 minus the timing advance loose power
compared to teh Quad90 or 135 i run now? I assume the propane will more
than make up for it?

Anyone else running this combo?

You will lose power with out the timing. The pane will help. I don't know about detontion problems with the Quad and Bully dog though. Wish I could help more here. For better fuel milage at lower power settings combined with the Quad, it should be just fine.

the tranny should be addressed first............the quad(215) and powershot 2000 worked ok but the quad had way to much rattle for me

Ditto for the trans. You will probably fail saif it every time you power it in 5th with all the stuff on if you haven't gotten the trans upgraded yet.

why don't you spend the money upgrading to the Quad 215 before spending on propane. You will probably get better times with the 215 alone then the 135 with propane. Before you do either you need a trans than can handle it. Generally people use propane when they have the largest single box(or stack)they can run and are looking for more.
