Would changing to an aftermarket shock help the ride of the 2500HD and if so what is recommended. It doesn't ride nearly as bad as my F-250, but I was just wondering if the ride could be helped some more. Thanks.

That'd probably be about now. The stock shocks are worthless and are notorious for going bad in a short time. *within 15k*

Mine were shot early on. THere was a dead spot where they normally ran. Meaning, about 2" of the stroke was effortless to move either direction before there was resistance.

I changed mine at around 300 miles. Superior ride quality. I've gotten more comments on the ride too. I tend to notice it more at around 40 mph on up.

Yea the Bil5100's really offer a great controled ride over the stock OEM shocks.

Bilsteins all the way...I just changed mine over this weekend. What a difference!!! My truck rides like a truck now not some cushy urban assault vehicle AKA - SUV.
