I need some help guys. A buddy of mine has a Frontier Replacement bumper off an 04 GMC HD and he is willing to get rid of it for a few hundred. Not quite sure how much these run brand new but the deal seems pretty good to me. The only problem i run into is that Im not sure if that bumper will fit on my 07 Chevy Classic. Im pretty sure the bars that guard the lights will interfer with my lights. If thats the case i'll just chop off that part and run the bumper with middle section. Any suggestion on this? Will it bolt up? Has anybody ever put a GMC bumper on a chevy?

It more than likely won't. As far as the brackets you will probably have to fab something up to make it work. We put a Frontier on the 07 2500HD and it was from a 1500, it required fabbing up all new brackets. I put a Ranch hand from an 02 Chevy on my 02 GMC and had to fab up all the mounts to make it work correctly, and had to redo the diamond plate on the bottom of the bumper to make it follow the grill. It was a PITA and took a lot of time, I should have just gotten the correct bumper.

Where are you located? I might be able to find you the correct bumper and trade with ya.

I live in corpus christi but the bumper is located in San Antonio. Let me know if you find something. If possible I would like a lightweight replacement like the frontier. The Ranchhands are too heavy and bulky but if you run across something feel free to contact me. Thanks.
