Can anybody tell me if when you stack lets say a 50 hp program with a 70 hp program do you really get 120 hp?

im pretty sure that you dont - for the most part its about finding the right combination that runs good and strong but im pretty sure that you dont see the full HP claims from both boxes with a stack, not sure exactly the % of HP it will be down from just adding the 2 up though. I know that running any type of PCM loaded program with the edge runs a lot better than the edge on its own, atleast it does on my truck anyways, and it will make more power than the edge alone. If i run the edge on level 5 only compared to say bulldog tuner on level 2 and edge on level 4, the stack will run better, stronger, and shift better - much better overall IMHO

By track testing, I stacked an Edge LLY on top of a TTS Tow. The TTS Tow solo ran 15.4 repeatably, and the Edge reduced it to 14.8, same day, multiple runs.

Probably about 60-70rwhp more.

for all those who know something about this - whats the best way to
stack 2 items ?? is it one on the lowest setting and the other on
the highest ?? or is there a middle ground with both that you
have to find to see what works the best and performs the best ??
it almost seems like it would be best to use a tuner ( lets say bully
dog ) on level 1, and a box like edge on level 5 to get the most out of
the stack, but im not exactly sure on that ?? anyone ??

I found the best for me by testing. Take it up in steps and see what it does. Use a G-Tech or go to the track if you can. My best time was with the Edge on 5/5 and Quadzilla tuner on 70 hp. When i went to 90hp i found it slowed down a tad cause of slip! So 70 hp setting was the ticket for me at that time. The Edge takes off like almost 2 seconds and adding the 70hp Quad i think takes off another 1-2 tenths. So the 2nd box doesnt seem to add the whole amount of Hp like you would think it would but does help in some cases.

For my truck, the Edge on 3,4,5 all ran the same ET stacked. As I upped the setting, it ran rougher during the shifts. So I ran mostly on 3.

i had one of the first quad lly boxes that i ran on stock tranny for about 7 days - i realized right away i needed to get er done with the tranny and what a difference it makes. the quad on 120 limped my stock tranny and it slipped a few times as well, not fun !

The egts are up there but not toooo terrible. I don't remember exactly but on the old dodge this type of power was useless cause you could only get into it for like 3 seconds before 1400 degrees was starin you right in the face. Thats with a stock turbo. I will pay more attention over the next couple of days with some exact numbers.
