I have an inline fuel pump(elect.) and need to know where would be a good place to pick up the electrical connection for the pump. I have a pre OEM Cat(nicknane) mounted in front of the rear wheel (their std. set up)and want to change over to a POST OEM set up and need to add a pump to push fuel from the OEM filter back to the CAT them back again to the engine.

Also have a used boost gauge(w/o instructions) that I am installing and need to know where to place the "T" for the boost tube connection. Thanks for the help.

I used the B+ stud#2 located in the under hood fuse box to get power for my lift pump set up ( http://community.webshots.com/album/77018086bLHHHC). Most of us who have lift pumps also use an oil pressure switch to activate the pump. This prevents the pump from running unless the engine is also running – the primary reason for the OP switch is to prevent fuel from flowing in an accident. Some of us have also added a pre-run timer to run the pump during the glow cycle – this helps prime the system prior to starting (It’s not a necessity though). Here is a schematic ( http://community.webshots.com/photo/77018086/143154393zVJoLp) that shows one way to do it.

Man ole Bill got it together HUH, By the way Bill you will be getting a fuel sample from me before long and it is going thro all 4 filters, we will see if the extra filter on the lift pump helps.

Bethron1..

if you don't already have a wiring harness, can certainly recommend the one John Kennedy has designed ... has worked flawlessly since installed .. comes with good directions
