It's your right....I applaud you for standing up to your beliefs .... http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Clap.gif

With the out of pocket expenses you have incurred you have that right ....

Looks like your driving to promote Lemon Citrus growers ....
You must have to "field" a lot of questions ...

Just got thru waxing both the truck and the car... after pulling 'em back in the garage, I noticed the reflection in the truck was of my rear tire reflecting off the car!! Mequires baby!! I guess that should be the next war room topic?? http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif

Yeah, mine definately needs a good wax job. Sweet reflection. I love the looks of a black truck, but man they are a pain to keep clean! The suburban that I traded in was black, so I was due for a change and liked the blue.

Hopefully I can get to waxing mine next weekend. I will have to give it a bath at least so we can shap a couple of pics on Saturday.

I got the nictane kit today, have looked it over, and am dying to get this bad boy installed! See ya Saturday morning.

Since he is apparently sleeping, I will answer for him again! http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gifhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

The painting was all done by a local body shop. The grille, front bumper cap, valence and rear bumper cap were all taken off of the truck and sent to the painter. They use alot of "flex" in the paint, so that it doesn't crack since its on plastic. It has been very durable and there are no noticable chips in the paint, and the truck goes through some tough Northeast winters.

As 03BlueHD has said, all painting was done off the truck and taken to a very reputable painter in my area, he has done various vehicles for me, including my '99 1500 that was painted the same way. Sorry, but I will not be at the Northeast get-together, but will try to get her out for the next CT dyno day, so some can get a closer look.

This is the serious part of the BMW 750iL, very quiet flyer. V12 with 322hp, 360ft-lbs of torque. Kinda luxurious... also fun to watch the valets RUN over to open your door in Vegas...

Nice back seat. Reclines, privacy shades, separate A/C, heated seats, etc.

This what I use the truck for. Hauling the 420hp Northstar powered dual purpose (Baja pre-run and sand rail) with 20+ inches of suspension and 25% droop. It's not finished, needs powdercoat, nickel plating, polishing and some other shiny stuff...

Road Boss,

Yes, it's wind wing in it's down position. I pull two pins and lift it about 75 degrees with spring shocks. The springs allow it to lay back some as your speed increases. It made a big difference on my last truck/trailer but I don't notice anything other than keeping some of the bugs off the front of the trailer with this setup. I have it so I'll keep using it.Edited by: case680e

I worked her pretty good today, the pics not the best. Probably not good to smoke when your taking the shot in the dark. Removed 4x4 and GMC 2500HD emblems. Painted rear wheel wells with undercoating. Looked at getting door handles done until I saw an older Denali with all of the scratches. I'll keep the black as this will conceal the fact that I work this truck......

Tim I really like the looks of the truck now. It looks awesome! I don't seem to have lost any power that I can tell.

Next summer will be the test when I break out the fifth wheel again and start doing some camping. I think I will need to drop the hitch a bolt hole to compensate for the additional height.

Has anybody noticed that their speedo is not consistently off by 5mph? Mine seems to be correct until about the point that I shift into OD, then it seems to be off by 5mph. That is in comparing my GPS to the speedo.

Hey sdsaver, yes I do have the ats still. Clint is going to make me a whole new one and send it to me I hope it all works together very well. I have not had my truck for 7 weeks, it had to have a head replaced, lol believe it or not. But will let you guys know all about it when I get it Back and get the new tranny in if he ever gives me a set price. I hope it isn't alot. i already gave him 4'000 for the other parts. Thanks for asking bud, keep in touch.

I would think he should take care of you....from Erics and Mikes posts....service was excellent from Clint and I can't see why you would expect any less than that. I think you have had the ATS for quite sometime, if I remember correctly, so you should be well taken care of if you had earlier versions that weren't quite up to par. Seems only fair if the tranny was not performing as advertised that he stand behind it......I know he has for a few others.

Who makes the push bar and is it bolt-on or did you have to drill? Did it cause any airflow concerns?

The pushbar is from Westin. It's called the "Bull Bar" and it is a bolt on. Now there are nock-offs of the same product made by various manufacturers (ie Deezee). You sould be able to find one priced out pretty decently.

When I bought mine, Westin was the only mfg. making it and it was stinking expensive! But, the price you pay to be different. Also, I have not experienced any airflow problems.
