Did anyone have problems with there trans after installing transgo jr??

Too early to tell. I've got about 600 miles on my kit and I love it. No problems whatsoever.

no problems....I put mine in about 20,000miles ago. It was not as easy as everyone says. It is not that it is physically difficult, it is just confusing because of all the fluid and all the fasteners and parts. If you keep everything straight and don't forget to make sure the post is put into the "Z" channel on the drivers side. Good Luck.

does it shift hard

25k on mine and no problems. Cleans up the shifts ,not hard at all. Barely noticable different than OE

Did mine last week , took about 75 miles to relearn with out telling it to. Clean quicker shifts that are slightly firmer then stock . If you drove it you may not notice any change until you got after it , part power is stock feel.

No problems here. Got about 400 miles on mine and shifts real nice.

Is this kit a DIY install or does it need to go to a tranny shop ?

It's a job for a Saturday afternoon at home. I have about ~2000 miles on mine since the Jr. install. For some reason, it seems like the shifts got a little sloppier with the install. There isn't the positive shift like I'd expect with a shift kit, they're almost 'mushy'. Did I do something wrong??

i agree thats suprising, did you let it relearn? im going to get a kit soon does anyone know how much a trans. shop would charge? i deffinatly dont trust myself, i tried one on my old cummins and lets just say a ford towed it away.

No problems at all after install.. Many miles since then..

Did my transgo jr kit install yesterday. All seems pretty good, I had somone do it for me as transmissions scare the hell out of me.....

Shifts seem quicker, and perhaps a little harder. Truck has 3424 miles on it but I did not reset the transmission to learn, I figured it would do so in the next couple of hundred miles.
